After meeting with my advisor again in 2018, he laid out a detailed plan to fulfill my dream of retiring early at age 54 in the summer of 2020 after a wonderful career in Aerospace Engineering. That meeting with my advisor in 2018 was so significant and liberating that I decided to become an advisor myself! What I teach my clients is how to become more observant of your own and others’ behaviors and patterns. We will look at how this may impact your relationships. You will gain ways of how to respond in a more healthy manner. You will learn the differences of growth mindsets and limited mindsets. Next, you will practice implementing healthier ways of dealing with stressful events. You will grasp how to problem-solve in order to navigate challenges more efficiently & effectively.
Finally, you will expand your knowledge of somatic & mindfulness exercises to regulate your nervous system and in turn this will allow you to remain more calm and enhance your strengths. I also do Brainspotting to help with trauma and disturbing memories. This allows your body to process and desensitize yourself to imprinted memories that may have caused overwhelming emotions that you may not seem to be able to move on from or that impact you often.
